My name is Sean, and I’m the owner and operator of Hella Gnarly Designs. I’m an artist, maker, and welder specializing in custom fabrication. Hella Gnarly Designs provides custom design and welding services, including repair, customization, or creation of equipment for both residential and commercial industries.

During my time at the SRJC, I completed courses in manual drafting, computer-aided drafting, and precision machining. In 2014, I graduated from Ben Whitaker’s welding program with honors. I went directly into production manufacturing, where I gained additional experience in precision machining with the use of vertical mills, hydraulic shears, press brakes, and precision laser-cutting equipment. I also worked in the wine industry, where I learned to build wine tanks, grind and polish parts, purge-weld tubing, and fabricate custom stainless countertops.
